David Archuleta is about to go on tour again, and this time he promises “a different kind of feel.”
After all, it’ll be a Christmas tour of sorts. Not entirely Christmas music, David points out in a video blog posted today. He’ll be mixing in some of his own music as well.
But concert-goers are sure to hear some of the classic songs from his Christmas CD which, by the way, hits stores tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 13).
And the tour is headed this way. It includes dates at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore on Tuesday, Dec. 15, and at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, Pa., on Friday, Dec. 18.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 24 for the Baltimore show, according to David’s Web site. The announcement is so new that the Lyric hasn’t added the show to its calendar yet. Here’s a link to the Web site, where ticket information should be posted soon.
Tickets for the show in Stroudsburg (about 2 1/2 hours from York) start at $30 and go on sale to members starting tomorrow and to the general public at noon Oct. 26. Go here for information.
It’s been a busy year for David. He did a solo tour (including an appearance in Lancaster) in the spring; then toured with Demi Lovato over the summer.
But it sounds like he’s anxious to hit the road again.
“I miss touring already,” he says in today’s video blog, filmed in Nashville, where he’s working on music for pop album number two. “It’s been a fun year, getting out on tour.”
The Christmas tour kicks off Nov. 24 and continues through Dec. 20. Here’s a link to a complete list of dates.
