Well, it’s time to listen to that new single from Mariah Carey.
The song is “Triumphant.” And given the theme, I’ll be shock if we don’t hear that chorus a time or two during Season 12 of American Idol.
The new Idol judge unveiled the song — featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill — Thursday.
Take that featuring part seriously, folks. You don’t hear Mariah until 30 seconds into the 4-minute track, and she really doesn’t take over the song until the 2:30 mark, contributing mostly to the chorus until that point.
No word yet on when Mariah’s album will be released. Her latest non-Christmas album came out in 2009.
