School of Culinary Arts announces ‘Red Envelope’ program

Posted by on November 30, 2012 in Events

Who doesn’t love to walk away from dinner with something more than just a full stomach?

The School of Culinary Arts’ Student-run Restaurant is offering just that with its “Red Envelope” dining program being held in the month of December.

Each individual who dines at the Student-run Restaurant in December will receive a sealed envelope. The envelope must not be opened until the individual returns for dinner during the month of January. At that time, the envelope will be opened to reveal a guaranteed prize. Prizes range from free dessert/coffee to Culinary Arts merchandise, to the Grand Prize of dinner for 2 each month for 2013. The “Red Envelope” program runs Dec. 5 through Dec. 21, 2012.

The Restaurant is located at 1063 N. George St. in North York and is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings – with seatings from 6 to 8:30 pm.  Reservations can be made by calling 846-5000. Current menus can be previewed at www.yorkchef.com.
