McDonald’s

The McRib is coming back!

The elusive menu item that has become a cult-favorite will return to McDonald’s for a limited time on Dec. 17.

The barbecue pork sandwich was first introduced to the McDonald’s menu in 1982. After poor sales,  it was removed from the menu in 1985. It was reintroduced in 1989, staying on the menu until 2005. Since 2006, it has been made available for a short time each year.

And if you can’t wait until the Dec. 17 release, you can always try to track down the sandwich using this McRib locator.

Burger King

Starting Thursday, Burger King is offering its classic Whopper sandwich for 55 cents to celebrate the burger’s 55th anniversary. The promotion will run through Sunday and is valid for customers who buy another Whopper sandwich.

Red Robin

Attention Jim, Jimmy, James and Jamie! (Everyone else, move on.)

On Tuesday, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. is offering guests named Jim, Jimmy, James and Jamie or some other similar moniker a free Sweet Jim Beam Bacon Swiss Burger. Guests who live on Jim Street or other variations can also get in on the deal, as long as they have a photo ID or proof of address and are at least 18 years old.
