Recipe: M&M Cookies
I’m not a huge cookie eater. I prefer ice cream… or cannolis… or brownies…
But, there is one cookie I have a weakness for (well, two, but I don’t know how to make an Oreo): M&M cookies. These are a Christmas staple at home. I make them for my oldest brother every year, because I know he’ll take my gift back if I don’t.
And while they are usually reserved for Christmas, I happened to have a stash of red M&Ms hanging around my apartment (don’t ask why, it’s a long story). So, I decided to make a batch for my co-workers on Valentine’s Day. I’m sweet like that.
I didn’t hear any complaints.

1. Blend shortening and sugars in large bowl. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
2. Mix dry indgredients together and add to mixture, blending well.
3. Stir in 1/2 cup M&Ms.
4. Drop by the teaspoon on to an ungreased baking sheet. Decorate tops with remaining candy.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown
