I believe that Patriotism is still important. I hear a lot about Patriotism in my family because my dad is in the Armed Forces and some of my family have served in the military in the past. Well, if you don’t believe in patriotism by the time you are done you will believe in patriotism.

One reason, why I think patriotism is still important is because it brings people together. It’s a country that’s united like we stand together. You should respect and treat people like you want to be treated. If your mom tells you to go clean your room, and you say no then that is not respectful. Faith makes you trust and believe in one another. That’s how it brings people together.

The next reason, that I believe in patriotism is because we have freedom. If we were voting for a President, to be the President of the United States, that would be our right to vote. We have freedom, for example life, liberty, and happiness. Life means live, liberty means freedom, and happiness means being happy, with your life, and the way you live. If we did not have freedom in the United States then we wouldn’t be able to spend the night at family, or friends’ houses. That would be very cruel.

The last thing is the United States history is our patriotism today. Sacrifices from our Armed Forces from wars in the past help to sustain life as we know it today. We have dedications from our founding fathers for standing up and doing what’s right. When we were under the British rule we had a war to have our own country. That’s how we became the United States of America.

That’s why I believe in patriotism. Do you now believe in patriotism? Well, if you do then I did my job. Would you ever join the armed forces I would and thank you out there for all them solders that serve our country.

Patriotism is showing love and devotion to your country. Do you believe that patriotism is still important? I believe that patriotism is still very important. Imagine how much greater our country would be if it had more patriotic citizens. Below I will explain why patriotism is so valuable to the United States of America.

We as a country are so lucky to have freedoms, like the freedom of speech. One of the many freedoms is we get to state our own opinions and not have to worry about facing a consequence. Another freedom we have as Americans, is the freedom to express our religions. Having a world full of patriots, we would never have to worry about losing our freedoms.

If we had more patriots, we would be able to keep people safe. Patriots are devoted to their country. Being devoted to your country would mean that we would encourage the armed forces so we could be safe and they would know that we cared back home. Think about it for a minute, that if we didn’t have any patriots, then who would want to be a solider? If you don’t have love and devotion to your country, then why would you want to fight and sometimes die for your country? Patriots and are very important to our country.

Patriotism helps us to be a very special country. A lot of countries don’t have public education and we are lucky enough to have public education. Another thing that helps us to be a very special country, is that we get to choose who we want to serve as Government leaders. Having patriots helps us to stay a very special country.

Now what do you think? Do you agree that patriotism is very important? I sincerely think that patriotism is a very important thing. Those were the reasons why I think patriotism is important.

Did you ever realize how free our country is? In other countries, people can’t do a lot of things like have a gun to defend themselves or hunt for food. I believe patriotism is still important today. I will tell you three reasons why that is my thought.

As Americans, we have a lot of freedom. For example, we have something called freedom of speech. Freedom of speech allows us to speak freely about others without being thrown in jail or worse. Somebody might not agree with what our president says, and they might tell somebody else. They won’t have to worry about getting into trouble.

Another freedom Americans have is freedom of religion. Freedom of religion lets Americans choose what church they want to go to. In colonial England, the people had to go to the same church as the king because they had to follow his orders. That was the main reason that the pilgrims came over from England. Now you may choose to be Islamic, Protestant, Catholic, or other religions. Americans are very lucky to have freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

My second reason is that the flag is very important in our country. There are flags on so many things you may not notice one when you see it. There are flags on soldier and police uniforms, in front of churches, banks, post offices, schools, and many other places. My aunt Denise serves as a colonel in the army, and fought in the Iraq War. One time when she visited our house, she saw our flag was hanging backwards and told us. That shows how respectful soldiers are to the flag. The flag is an important symbol that give us hope.

Patriotism keeps our country united, and this is my final reason. More people can help and support other Americans in times of trouble, like natural disasters and war. When we are united, we have a bigger army to fight our enemies at war.

Patriotism is a very important thing to have in our country. I love America!

Do you still believe patriotism is important? Well, I sure do. Patriotism is an important part of our nation whether we believe it or not. In the next few paragraphs I will explain why it is so important to be patriotic and devoted to our country.

Without patriotism we would have no Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines. No one would be devoted enough to serve for our wonderful country. And the worst part is that they may feel like fighting for China or other countries instead. Don’t you think our country is worth fighting for? Where would we be without patriotism?

Without patriotism we just might be under another countries rule. Like I said before there would be no army to fight for our freedom. And to top it off, no one would support America. What kind of nation does that sound like to you?

It might sound weird to bring up love in a report about patriotism, but love is an important part of our society. Without it there would be hate within our country and no understanding or support for our government. People would have no respect for our wonderful country. And without love people might say, “Oh, maybe since it’s Sunday, I’ll fight for Germany today. Tomorrow, I think I’ll fight for China because America stinks!” The word love can mean a lot of different things to different people, but when it comes to this great nation of ours, love is one of the most important things we could have as Americans. It pushes us to support each other.

With all that said, patriotism is very important in my book and it should be in yours too. I hope you enjoyed my report on patriotism and that you are all inspired to support and appreciate this great nation of ours.

Do you believe patriotism is still important to our country. In my family it does matter. My grandfather served in the United States Navy for four years. He was stationed in Baine Bridge, Maryland, San Diego, California, and also Hawaii. His father served in the Navy, and was in World War II. My great uncle devoted most of his life to the Army and he actually was the first squad to enter Desert Storm. My cousin is currently in the Air Force. He just got home after a long stay in Korea. These members are just to name a few of the people from our family that have served. So you can understand why in our home it is so important. Here are three reasons why patriotism still matters.

Everyone that serves protects us from attacks. Every job doesn’t mean that they are in a war. There are nurses that take care of the wounded soldiers. Next is the National Gard. They are a part of our military. They can protect our country from criminals and if there was an emergency due to weather. These warriors sometimes live normal lives, but when they’re called they drop everything and go. The third reason is because of the police and firefighters. They might not be in our military but they do serve our country. They protect us from danger, fire, and help if there was an accident. Most firefighters are volunteers. To me they are heroes.
With the reasons that I have listed, I feel our country is special. We live in a country that has voting rights, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. Our country was as a family on Christianity. In our country we value servicemen. To answer the question, “Do I still believe patriotism matters to our country?” I would have to say yes it is important to our country, but I feel there are people that have lost their devotion to serving our country. When I watch the news I see people not supporting our servicemen. It makes me feel ashamed. I feel they don’t have to agree, but they should respect and support them. These heroes are putting our country and our freedom before their own lives, spouses, parents, and children.

This is why I believe patriotism is still important to our country.

Do you believe that patriotism is still important in today’s society? I do believe that patriotism is still important and you should as well.

One way that I show respect to my country is at school with the flag. I raise the flag in the morning and I lower the flag at the end of the day. I also remember to lower the flag when it rains and I always fold the flag the proper way.

Another way that I show my love for our country is that I cover my heart with my right hand and I recite the Pledge of Allegiance. I do this every day I have school and Boy Scouts. And that is a few ways that I show my respect for the country that we live in.

Something else we should do is show respect and to support our Army, and all of the armed forces. Without them this country would be in absolute chaos and we would we would have no rights or freedom. We also need to remember all of our United States heroes that have fought for our freedom and rights. These heroes sacrifice their time and their lives. For instance, the other day on the news I heard that eight army men lost their lives. Their plane crashed into a tree while on a mission to deliver more supplies. This made me think about my friends at school that have a mom or a dad in the Armed Forces. Sometimes their mom or dad are gone for a long time. It makes me sad because my friends are sad. But makes me glad to know that they are helping to keep me safe and free.

Now that you have read about why I believe that patriotism is still important. I have one question for you, are you a patriot like me?

How many flags do you see at every house you pass by a car or any other vehical?

If I see a flag’s out I know that’s love, that’s patriotism. I believe in patriotism, that’s love for our country. I’ll give you three reasons below.

Reason number one is why I believe patriotism is still important because of honoring our country. Voting shows love by helping our president make choices for our country. Every morning in a classroom pledging to our American flags shows devotion to your country. Picking up litter for a better country shows patriotism. Honoring our troops by sending care packages or clapping when they come home shows love for the country. Setting out a flag also honors our country but, don’t leave the flag out in the rain, that’s disrespectful. Also, honoring more veterans shows devotion to our country just by saluting.

Another reason why patriotism is still important is to follow the laws shows patriotism for our country. We would have less crimes in our country like speeding, homicides, not wearing seat belts, and murdering. A more fair, safer country to stay at. It would be the safest country in the world to live in. It would be safe for kids, teens, adults, and elderly. America would not panic a lot. On to the last reason.

The final reason is why I believe patriotism is still important. It would help keep the country together forever and ever. The U.S would not go into chaos and be reckless and dead. America would not fall into pieces, not have wars between states, and not be good old U.S.A anymore. It would help to go through tough times with the economy and job losses. Also we would not have the right to speak out, vote, and be under an empire. It makes U.S.A special just by patriotism people have for their country.

That is why there is flags out to show love for their country in U.S.A. It does show patriotism we have for back then, now, and in future years for America.
