Concert to feature NHS musicians
Student musicians at Northeastern High School will have the honor of playing with members of the Spring Garden Band in January.
The concert will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, in the school’s Sutton Auditorium, 300 High Street, Manchester. The Spring Garden Band will perform first, then approximately 30 members of the NHS Concert Band will join them during the second half of the performance.
Tickets are $5 each, available at the door or by calling band director Tim Howell at 266-3644, ext. 81037, or 364-8212. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23.
All proceeds will benefit the new high school marching band uniform fund.
