Students at Lancaster Country Day School, 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster, will offer a theater performance of “Oliver!” Feb. 24 to 27.

Pictured, in real life, fifth-grader Lauren MacKinnon, of York, right, doesn’t wear fashion from the 1830s, but on stage she’s Charlotte, the undertaker’s daughter. She’s part of a cast of 42 students, ages 9-18, who will bring the Dickens tale to life. Working behind the scenes, Forrest Thomson, left, an LCDS junior from Delta, played his role by designing the show’s poster.

Hours are 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 24-26, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27.

Tickets are available online at www.lancastercountryday.org. In the spirit of helping to relieve hunger, each person is requested to bring a canned food item to be donated to one or more local food banks.
