Employees of the Department of Emergency Services recently held penny wars to raise money for a Make-A-Wish Foundation trip to Disney World for Trevor Knarr, the son of York City Police Officer James Knarr.

Trevor has a life-threatening medical condition and Officer Knarr’s friends and co-workers at York County 911 decided to have a competition and see which shift could raise the most money for the foundation. They raised $400 for Trevor’s November trip.
