York JCC offers swim lessons
Registration opens at 5 a.m. Feb. 10 for seven-week swim lessons, held Feb. 20-April 8 at the York Jewish Community Center, 2000 Hollywood Drive. Certified instructors teach Red Cross standards.
Group swim lessons are held once a week. Cost: $80.
Parent and Child Aquatics:
– Level 1, ages 6 months to 2 years, 6:30-7 p.m. Tuesdays and 11-11:30 a.m. Saturdays
– Level 2, ages 2-3, 5:30-6 p.m. Mondays, 6-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.-noon Saturdays
Preschool Aquatics, ages 4-5:
– Level 1, 5:30-6 p.m. Tuesdays
– Level 2, 5-5:30 p.m. Mondays, 6-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, 10:30-11 a.m. Saturdays
– Level 3, 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays, 5:30-6 p.m. Wednesdays, 10-10:30 a.m. Saturdays
For ages 6 and older:
– Level 2, Fundamental Aquatic Skills, 5:30-6 p.m. Mondays
– Level 3, Stroke Development, 4:30-5:15 and 5:15-6 p.m. Mondays, 5:45-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, 4:30-5:15 and 5:15-6 p.m. Wednesdays, 10-10:45 a.m. Saturdays
– Level 4, Stroke Improvement, 4:30-5:15 and 5:15-6 p.m. Mondays, 5:45-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, 4:30-5:15 and 5:15-6 p.m. Wednesdays, 10-10:45 a.m. Saturdays
– Level 5, Stroke Refinement, 4:30-5:15 p.m. Mondays and 10:45-11:30 a.m. Saturdays
