Free arts workshops for kids in July

The York County Heritage Trust’s Stabler Series continues in July with free, hands-on workshops about history and the arts presented by local artisans from the York Town Craft Guild.

Two-hour classes begin at 11 a.m. at the Historical Society Museum, 250 E. Market St. Upcoming sessions are:

July 14: Beaded Jewelry, for ages 8-12.
July 21: Scherenschnite Paper Cutting for ages 9-14.

There is no charge, but pre-registration is required and class size is limited. To register, email AIMREC@yorkheritage.org or call (717) 848-1587, ext. 301. Complete course details are available at www.yorkheritage.org.
