Art classes begin July 16
Romare Beardon Inspired Collages, a four-day art session for children ages 5-12, will be held July 16 -19 at the York Art Association, 220 S. Marshall St., Springettsbury Township.
The young artists will create scenes of their favorite places or activities in collages using magazine clippings as well as colorful paper. They may use their own photos or those provided with the course.
Instructor Tessa Siewert will present a brief lesson of inspirational works by artists.
Class hours are 9-10:30 a.m. for ages 5-8 and 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for ages 9-12. The cost is $40.
