Gypsy fest features lots of music

The first annual Django Gypsy Fest opens at noon Saturday, July 14, at Elicker’s Grove Park, 511 Roth Church Road, Spring Grove.

The rain-or-shine family event features a children’s play area and lots of live music. The schedule is:

Noon: Gates open
1 p.m.: Shepp from Ameranouche
2 p.m.: Hot Club Du Jour
3 p.m.: The Gypsy Moth Trio featuring Daisy Castro
4 p.m.: All about Django and the music, Artist Q&A in the Round
5 p.m.: Gonzalo Bergara & Evan Perri
6 p.m.: Bucky Pizzarelli & Ed Laub
7 p.m.: Frank Vignola & Vinny Raniolo
8 p.m.: Gypsy Caravan Finale, all artists, hosted by Frank Vignola

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Ticket prices are $35 in advance or $40 at the gate. Admission prices for kids ages 15 and younger are free with an adult ticket purchase.
