Young archaeologists in York
Kids ages 9-12 look for artifacts at Penn Park during York County Parks Archaeology Week. The week-long day camp, co-sponsored by the York County Heritage Trust, is the first excavation of the site where a Civil War hospital operated. The participants, ages 9-12, work with experts to learn proper archaeological techniques.
