Kelli meets an Alien named Lenny.
Join Kelli, a joyful girl, and Lenn the English-speaking Alien in learning about Aliens.

~~~
Hi hi. I’m Kelli.
Guess what I saw?
Aliens.
They were waving at me and breaking into a house!
Mom said it’s just my imagination. But I swear I saw them go into the house and bring out telephones. They were saying, “me call home me call home.”
It reminded me of the movie “E.T.”
I love that movie.
My theory is that they came to earth JUST to steal phones. I wonder why?
But why not just send one of them to earth instead of all of them? I don’t know but its none of my beeswax.
But who cares I LOOOOVE Aliens.
And I am very curious. So I went outside.
The aliens stared at me.
Then one of them came over to me and stuck out his hand.
I asked him his name, he said Lenny.
Nice to meet you Lenny.
Lenny said this group of aliens is called the electro-call home 3000.
The whaaaaaaat????????
He said the group of aliens HE brought down here is called the electro-call home 3000.
Wait a sec, did you just say “he” as in you Lenny?
Yes, said Lenny. I’m the leader of this group.
So Lenny what does this so called electro group thingy of yours do?
Well, said Lenny, we go to different states in the Earth (we live on Mars) and steal electric human things. Then we fly in our spaceship back to Mars and the lead alien (ME) uses the stuff to make alien things.
Then Lenny said could I tell you about aliens?
I said sure. O.K.
Alien Language: Alientiese (hello=olleh, bye=eyb, thank you=uoy knaht.)
Culture: anything
Genders: Lead Alien (5 star), nam (4 star), namow (3 star), yob (2 star), lrig (1 star), kidling (0 star).
Wow, I said, very interesting.
Really? I think it’s pretty boring.
Nah, the humans are way, way more boring.
Definitely not, Kelli, your culture sounds cool.
Well it might not be boring, but aliens sound cooler than humans. When I was a little kid I used to read a whole bunch of alien books.
Then Lenny said, what are books?
You’ve NEVER heard of a book?
Nope not once.
Well, I said, books are things you read an …
All of a sudden a very very pale alien came up to Lenny and said, I kniht ew dluohs og ris.
Yhw namrac????
Llew e-esuaceb ris ev’ew neeb dettops.
Ohw saw dettops??????
Calil ris.
K.O. namrac llet eht rehto aliens 5 erom setunim.
Kk ris.
Sorry about that Kelli, seems like lilac was spotted by a human.
Why did you talk so funny???
We (me and Carmen) were talking in Alientiese. Since I’m the only one who can speak English I talked to her in Alientiese since that’s the only language she can speak.
What gender is Carmen???
Carmen is an lrig. The l is silent. She is a 1 star alien.
What gender is lilac?????
Lilac is an lrig too.
Are Carmen and Lilac friends???
Yes, they are the most best friends if I ever saw a pair. So what were you saying before that interruption.
Well I was explaining what a book is.
So a book is something you read.
Oh yeah I think you are talking about a koob.
Is that Alientiese for book?????
Yes I think it is, said Lenny. Well I don’t think we have much time left.
I’ll miss you Lenny.
Bye Kelli or in Alien language, eyb illek.
