The aliens that came in touch with the Earth
This is an entry in Junior Dispatch’s alien short story contest. The effort earns the writer a free book from the York Emporium and a chance to win a $50 movie gift card and a $50 gift certificate from The York Emporium. The submission deadline was Aug. 1.

Once upon a time there was a crowd going crazy. They thought the aliens were going to get in touch with the Earth. But I was the only one who did not believe them. I thought they were silly. Each night I would watch the sky and nothing would happen. But one night something did happen! The aliens DID get in touch with the Earth! And the aliens were standing right on my porch!
When I woke up in the morning, I was not at home. I was kidnapped by aliens! The only reason that they chose me was because they wanted to see how a human brain works. I thought that they would have to cut off my head, but they didn’t. The reason that they wanted to know how the human brain works is because they wanted to be our friends. So we had all sorts of adventures together. We walked on the moon and the planets.
Then they said it was time to take me back home. So I went home. They dropped me from the sky. I told the people all the things that happened and that the aliens only wanted to be our friends.
