The aliens and the kidnap
This is an entry in Junior Dispatch’s alien short story contest. The effort earns the writer a free book from the York Emporium and a chance to win a $50 movie gift card and a $50 gift certificate from The York Emporium. The submission deadline was Aug. 1.

Once upon a galaxy their was a planet in our solar system that we never knew was there. There was a species of aliens on this planet. These green 12 eyed creatures had an idea that they were trying to make happen for years! They wanted to go to the only planet in our solar system where there was life!
They traveled to all the other planets in the Milky Way but they found no life, just plain old nothing. They finally took one of their ships to hover over Earth, and they did it!
They found the only planet in the Milky Way where there was life. Of course there was life on their planet since there were aliens on it but no one knew it existed. So the aliens in the ship flew back to planet Cattail (named after the plant) and celebrated, then got to work planning their plan to take a trip to Earth and kidnap a special somebody. The aliens did have a reason and their reason was to learn science to make more aliens from the amazing scientist Albert Einstein. They looked on all the planets in the Milky Way to see if they could find him and they knew there had to be life. So they had an alien named Amelia be their captain of the mission.
Two days later they packed up their stuff and went on their way to Earth. In the ship on their way to Earth they transformed into what looked like human beings. They started their hunt in the state, Maine. They started by asking locals if they knew where Albert was, but what the aliens didn’t tell them was that they were going to kidnap him.

The aliens were kind of guessing him but then realized they had nothing to lose. So they asked the elderly man to be their guide to New York to find Mr. Einstein. The man gladly replied with a yes. So then they were on their way.
Finally, after a long car ride, they arrived in New York. They started searching and asking locals. Then they saw a sign that said, “scientist at work.” They went in quietly and there he was, Mr. Albert Einstein. The aliens took a bag, covered Albert and transported to Cattail leaving the elderly man behind. They put him in their lab, took the bag off of him and forced Albert to tell them how to make more aliens.
Albert was scared, but then came up with an idea. Before he told them, he made the aliens promise they would bring him right back to Earth after. He told them an experiment that wouldn’t do anything. These aliens did take him back to Earth. They did the experiment and nothing happened. They went back to get Albert and then realized that he died one day earlier from natural causes.
The aliens gave up and two months later a huge asteroid hit planet Cattail. So there was no longer a species of aliens. Or is there? The world may never know.
