The alien school

Introduction:
Once in the year 2012 there was a school of aliens. The teacher was named Miss Suzy. She had 20 students in her class. One day the class was learning about planets. Miss Suzy thought, “Why not take them on a field trip to SEE the different planets?” So they did. The class loved it.
Now I’ll let you hear the story …
It was the day of the field trip and the class of aliens was running around the classroom shouting, tidying up, and doing last minute packing of water, Band-aids, and mats to sit on until Miss Suzy finally said, “Attention … it’s time to go.”
The class room was abuzz with fear, excitement, and lots of noise …”yippee” “yeah” “let’s go” “oh no.”
“Okay, okay class,” said Miss Suzy, “in the bus.”
First they went to Mercury. “Mercury has round craters that cover the planet’s surface. The craters formed when asteroids and comets hit the planet.”
Next they traveled to Venus. “Although Venus isn’t the closest planet to the sun it’s the hottest. Any oceans that Venus once had have all boiled away.”
Next they traveled to Earth. “Earth thinks it’s the only planet with living things.” The class gasped. “It should stay like that. We should never be seen.” The class nodded smoothly, fast, and quietly.
Next they traveled to Mars. “Mars has a rocky surface with deep canyons, tall mountains, and huge volcanoes. One of the volcanoes is the biggest in the whole solar system.”
Next they traveled to Jupiter. “Jupiter has a great red spot. The great red spot is bigger than the entire Earth. Inside of the spot is a horrible storm.” The class screamed.
Next they traveled to Saturn. “Saturn has the brightest rings of all four outer planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.”
Next they traveled to Uranus. “Uranus has 11 rings.”
Last they traveled to Neptune. “Neptune has 13 moons.”
Then they went back to their regular class room. Bob said, “That was fun.”
Anna said, “No, that was funner than fun!”
Sarah said, “Miss Suzy, can we soon go again?”
Then they made planets, stars, and asteroids to hang from the ceiling. The next day they had a planet test and everyone got 100 percent! “I think that the field trip helped,” thought Miss Suzy.
