Children’s author Jessica Dimuzio and her canine co-author, Johnny Angel, will be doing a book reading (together!), short program and book signing, 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Paul Smith Library of Southern York County, 80 Constitution Ave., Shrewsbury.

Johnny Angel, a five-pound Papillon puppy and his best friend, veterinarian Dr. Jessica Dimuzio, recount the struggle to save their beloved Norristown, Pa., park in the newly published children’s picture book, “Bark! Bark! Bark for My Park!” The story proves that no matter what size, age, or even species you are, you have the power to make a difference in your world.
