How do animals prepare for winter?
The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will present an all-ages hike, How Animals Prepare for Winter, 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Nixon County Park.
Participants will hike with a parks staff person to explore the animal world and learn the steps animals are taking to prepare for the coming winter season. This is a great learning experience for all ages. Participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
