Scouts to host open house at new youth building
The New Freedom Community Youth Building will be dedicated from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3, with an open house and ribbon-cutting hosted by Boy Scout Troop 24.
Scouts will conduct tours of the building and demonstrate Dutch-oven cooking. Rockets will be launched, weather permitting.
The building is located in Veterans Park on Veterans Drive in New Freedom. All members of the community, including boys interested in Scouting, are invited to attend the event.
