Eighth-grader wins anti-bullying poster contest

New Oxford Middle School’s 8-2 Team took on a project to build awareness against bullying in the school — an anti-bullying poster contest.

Approximately 60 student entries were displayed throughout the middle school with various anti-bullying messages. The posters were then judged by a committee who selected Mikaela DeFillipo’s poster.

DeFillipo suggested working together to make a difference to Stop Cyber Bullying.

The eighth-grader won a gift card for her efforts.
