Buffet to benefit local child battling cancer

A young child from the local community will be helped through a fundraiser buffet, 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at A Taste of Bourbon, 1080 Carlisle St., Hanover.

The event will benefit Jhonen Sullivan, who is undergoing chemo treatments after being recently diagnosed with leukemia. He is the son of Jen Weaver, a member of Black Rock Rollers, which is co-hosting the fundraiser.

The cost for the buffet is $9.95 per person, with $4 of each purchase going directly to Jhonen and his family. Half price will be charged for children ages 8-12 and those ages 7 and younger can eat for free. Non-alcoholic drinks are included in the price of the buffet.
