4-H horse clubs are open to new members

Two local 4-H horse clubs are inviting area youth ages 8 to 18 to join during the new year.

– The Airville Hitchin’ Rail 4-H Horse Club meets at 7 p.m. the second Tuesdays monthly at Muddy Creek Meadows Riding Stable in the Airville area. Participants should bring a notebook and a pen or pencil. For more information, call 779-8775 or email muddycreekmeadows@yahoo.com.

– The White Rose 4-H Horse and Pony Club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Tuesdays monthly at the Springfield Township Building, 9211 Susquehanna Trail South, Seven Valleys. For more information, email brooke.lesinski@sycsd.org or call (484) 955-7383.

The clubs provide educational opportunities but do not provide horses or riding lessons.
