A meeting for parents of D-town kindergartners
A kindergarten readiness meeting for parents of incoming kindergarten students in the Dallastown Area School District has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at York Township Elementary School, 2500 S. Queen St.
The meeting provides information to parents regarding the academic and social expectations of children in the kindergarten program. The meeting is for kindergarten parents only.
To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2013. A child who will be 6 years old on or before Aug. 31 and has attended a licensed kindergarten, is eligible to be registered for first grade.
