Achieving book fair goals at two Northern York County School District elementary schools resulted in entertainment for students, fueling their desire to read.

At Wellsville Elementary, students poured green slime on Principal Steve Lehman at the end of a school day so he could transform into The Hulk at that evening’s Family Fun Night festivities.

Wellsville’s book fair grossed more than $5,000 in sales with $3,100 in scholastic funds for library purchases.
