Southern students use creativity in the library

Based on artist Jane Mount’s book, “My Ideal Bookshelf,” Southern Elementary sixth-graders combined art with their love of reading to design their own personal bookshelves. They painted or collaged books for individual shelves and helped decorate ceiling tiles in the school’s library.
