Approximately 300 sixth-graders and 60 high school counselors will be participating Camp C.A.R.E.S (Conewago Area Resource and Environmental Study), a 3-day, 2-night outdoor education excursion for all sixth-graders at Conewago Valley Intermediate School. In support of the camp, Gene Latta Ford made a $1,000 donation. The Conewago Valley Intermediate School collected 7,246 food items during a food drive Nov. 30-Dec. 17 for the Adams County Rescue Mission Food Pantry. Mrs. Molly Rinehart’s sixth-grade class collected the highest number of items — 854.
