Free summer event for Hanover students

A fun, free, educational opportunity for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders in the Hanover Public School District is being offered by the Hanover YWCA and the school district.

The summer program will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, June 27 to July 22 at the Hanover Middle School. It includes free transportation, breakfast and lunch.

The theme is A Crime Scene Investigation. It will focus on science, math and language arts in the morning and activities, i.e. music, art, physical education, nutrition, drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention, field trips and more, in the afternoon.
