York Haven Elementary School’s annual McTeacher night fund raiser is 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at McDonald’s, 4245 N. George St. Extended, Manchester.

Come see the teachers and Mr. March (principal) take orders. A portion of all orders will benefit York Haven Elementary School.

Coupons are required when placing an order. They can be picked up at York Haven Elementary, 360 Cassel Road, or at any school within the Northeastern School District.

Teachers and staff members from all the school buildings within the Northeastern School District will team up for Battle of the Buildings, 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the high school gym, 300 High St., Manchester.

Building teams will compete against one another in various relays and Minute to Win It challenges. The high school cheerleaders and the pep band will perform and root for their teachers. Competition is intense, as the winning school gets to keep the coveted championship banner for an entire year.

All proceeds benefit Northeastern Dollars for Scholars, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for graduating seniors who attend the Northeastern School District.

Tickets are $1 for students and $2 for adults. The doors open at 6 p.m.

The Northeastern School District has changed the date of the parent informational meeting for incoming kindergartners to Wednesday, April 18.

The meeting, originally scheduled for Feb. 15, will be held at 7 p.m. at Orendorf Elementary School, South Hartman Street, Manchester.

The Northeastern School District has announced its Holiday Concert schedule.

Dec. 6: Shallow Brook Intermediate & Spring Forge Intermediate School Holiday Concert for grades 5 and 6, 7 p.m. at Northeastern High School, 300 High Street, Manchester.

Dec. 8: Northeatern Middle School Holiday Concert, 7 p.m. at Northeastern Middle School, 4855 Board Road, Mount Wolf.

Dec. 11: Northeastern High School Holiday Concert, 2 p.m. at the high school.

Dec. 12: York Haven Elementary School Holiday Concert, 7 p.m. at York Haven Elementary School, 360 Cassel Road, York Haven.

Dec. 13: Orendorf Elementary School Holiday Concert for grades 2 and 3, 6:30 p.m. at the high school.

Dec. 14: Mount Wolf Elementary School Holiday Concert for grades 2 and 3, 6:30 p.m. at the middle school.
