Penn State picks up its 12th verbal commitment
Penn State has picked up its 12th verbal commitment for its 2012 football recruiting class _ a tight end from the Pittsburgh area.

Ron Ruman, a well-known local radio broadcaster, is the point man on this endeavor, but he’ll get some help from York Dispatch staffers sports editor Steve Heiser and sports reporter John Walk. All three are Penn State graduates and have been following Nittany Lions football for years. Walk brings the perspective of a recent grad (2010), while Ruman and Heiser have been watching Joe Paterno and his troops for decades.
